ZEROBIO Zero Gravity is a Newark, New Jersey USA-based hip-hop trio that specializes in innovative lyricism, imaginative mindstates, and a healthy dose of miserable humour. Originally formed off Third Moon of Venus in 1989, the group has since evolved 2 its current lineup: SAINT, DAMSEL,and MAYHEM. Saint, the Headrocka, is the group's lyrical necromancer, and its driving 4ce-- the Yang. Damsel, the Deucefiddle, serves as the group's mystic rhyme oracle, and its earthing vessel-- the Yin. Mayhem, the Treyrippa, exists as Zero Gravity's sublime roughneck center-- both its dark and light-- the Division. Their three distinct personalities make 4 a variable psyche-shattering blend of groove phrazes and thought flow that will run rampant through your grey matter. Zero Gravity has been metaphorically dubbed the psychotic Japanimation 2 the standard comic-book art of the hip-hop spectrum. Their influences include Run-DMC, Beastie Boys, Digital Underground, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Ot+>/Prince, Ice Cube, Nirvana, Method Man, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cypress Hill, KRS-One, and Public Enemy. The group exists as part of a fully-functioning network called The Bohemian Blue Crew, a street urchin rhyme syndicate chock-full of multiple voices and viewpoints that represent Brick City life. Sorry. :o) Just one more thing we didn't adapt 2 on this planet-- 'sides tha bright light-! We r sorta hip-hop purists, so we dig pioneers from the '80's. We sought them 4 inspiration coming up on Third Moon, and their influence helped our incantations plenty. 4 real doe... hard being an iconoclast.
